2012 CADILLAC CTS PERFORMANCE & HANDLING
Rigorously tested on the famous Nürburging motorsport complex in Nürburg, Germany, the Cadillac CTS is a performance-oriented vehicle available with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder direct injection V6 engine that generates 270 hp or a 3.6-liter with 318 hp. Both are available with a six-speed manual (16 city mpg/26 highway mpg) or six-speed Hydra-matic 6L50 automatic transmission (18 city mpg/27 highway mpg). Automatic transmission vehicles are equipped with all-wheel drive on demand. The four-wheel independent suspension - one of Cadillac's biggest tuning focuses out on the track - allows for precise control and handling. Stabilitrak, Cadillac's electronic stability control system, ensures the ride is smooth and comfortable. The CTS is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock brake system (ABS) and an electronic parking break. |

2012 CADILLAC CTS EXTERIOR & INTERIOR
The design philosophy of the 2012 Cadillac CTS was a major step forward when the second generation was released in 2008. From end to end, this luxury sedan underwent dramatic improvements: The location of the wheels, pushed out to the corners, creates sharp lines and excellent cornering capability. Headlights can be equipped with Adaptive Forward Lighting that uses sensors to adjust the angle of the lamps up to 15 degrees depending on driving conditions and Xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) to improve nighttime visibility. Driver and passenger mirrors are heated and power-adjustable. Overall, Cadillac has stuck to their signature feel - striking and bold.
Inside, an eight-way power leatherette driver's seat is standard, with the option of an upgrade to heated 10-way power leather driver and passenger seats. The manual-tilt telescoping steering wheel is leather-trimmed with audio and cruise controls and Bluetooth interface - and it is also available heated. To keep you connected to the music you love, all vehicles are XM-ready with a free three-month trial and come equipped with a CD player/Radio Data System (RDS) with eight-speaker Bose sound system that is also MP3 compatible. Navigation Glide-Up console with touch screen and hard drive is available as an upgrade, as is a rearview backup camera that provides you with clear vision for squeezing out of tight spots. OnStar Directions & Connections Plan is provided free for one year to keep you safe and on the right track, and illuminated entry allows easy access to the roomy interior at night. Sapele wood, typically used in making guitars, is available as a trim, giving your Cadillac CTS a classy, lavish feel. Cadillac's second generation CTS is a sleeker model inside and out. |
